The glider
The glider
It is so interesting to observe how these animals are gliding on the water surface. Doing that, it looks that water surface is slightly bended on the spots, where they touch it. See the six dark spots on the bottom of the creek! They correspond exactly to the six legs of the glider. Water, being concavely curved, is refracting light like a lense, creating those spots.
