The Golden Dihedral

In 1999 I met these guys from Telluride who lived next door to Charlie Fowler. They were going up to Lander for the Mountain Festival, so they asked him what to climb. He sent them into the East Fork Valley to climb the Golden Dihedral, IV 5.9. I've had this one on my mind since then, and it lived up to 8 years worth of hype. It ain't easy, though. August 15, 2007.
