...with whipped cream, beautiful shot!
My first impression was "Looks like travertine."
But whipped cream works for me, too. Excellent shot!
The weather was sure excellent for you. All of your photos portray this. Thanks for posting.
you got the digital camera. Which one did you end up getting. Excellent shot!
Thanks. I got the Canon S50. I like its manual controls and extra pixels for cropping and post-processing. It also has a much faster response than my old HP camera. Now that I'm viewing and processing photos with an LCD screen, I've noticed that all my previous photos look noisy and oversharpened. Photos on CRT monitors seem blurry and overly soft to me now.
Great photos! I also just purchased the Canon S-50 recently, and I was curious what function or control you were using for your photos? I'm still learning everything...there's just so much the camera can do!
I took this photo focused at infinity with aperture priority set to f/8. Before posting it, I did some noise reduction, messed with levels to improve contrast, resampled it, and finally applied some unsharp masking.
No crowds and good weather plus your new camera makes for an outstanding photo. Well done. Got any more? I never get tired of pics like this.
Impressive scene! Thanks for posting.
Wicked, Wicked, OH WICKED!!
Nice shot!! Looks like an absolutely perfect day!
Fantastic Fhoto ! Heading up there in a few weeks with skis, cant wait !
Cool Pic. Im planning on going to Mt Hood on Feb 26th 2005.
Great Photo, I can't wait to climb it. Soon.
Good shoot of the route
