The middle basin of Bird...
The middle basin of Bird Creek (c. 5,800 ft). The view is roughly northwest toward White Goat Mountain (not visible). Tupshin Peak is to the right. Devore Peak is to the left. It is at this elevation that you look left to find the gully that leads up to the upper basin and Devore's outlier East Ridge. May 28, 2005.
