camping?How long of a day is it doing Little Costilla? Camping oppurtunities along trail? Want to do in August.

Re: camping?Its probably like half a day I would say. There isn't really much camping along the trail until you get above treeline. The best place to camp would be around the Corrals (the parking area) seen in this picture.

Re: camping?I did not make the summit. Truck broke down so got a late start. Around noon. Storms. Beautiful area I'd never been to in my 35 or so years going to NM.
