Is this the natural sky? - almost looks like a painting - and really beautiful!

Yes, all the skies in my photos are natural. I don't believe in faking anything or heavy editing in photos and thus I only really try go to the mountains when the weather is predicted to be perfect for photography and often linger around for late afternoon glows. I have much more fun this way when I return with good photos that make me smile. Thank you for the comment and cheers.

i completely agree - i don't like surfing flickr anymore for that reason. photography is about capturing what is, even if it isn't 'perfect' :)
