The Rothenfels middle tower : very wild !
ROTHENFELS : This is one of the most important and wildest rocky massives, in all the Northern Vosges (department of Moselle, nr 57). Equally named as Rothenberg, this rocky mountain contains too much rocky formations, wild and remarkable vegetation, beautiful points of view, ... The moves are not easy here, the forest is very dens and junglual, the ways are badly degaged and the rocks are not valorised ! This enerved us, but this is unfortunately the truth, in the Northern Vosges ... The Rothenberg site, like too much others from the neary country, are theorically forbidden and closed to the public : the invoqued reason, is that the peregrine falcon is rebounding in this natural area (the number of breedings and nestings is becoming higher ! ). If this new is true, we don't know ... We are not sure, this lot of rocks closures is maybe doing, for giving problems to the poor hikers and climbers, who wants to come here ! The hikers will be certainly afraid, if they will seeing, like so a lot of rocks closures ... But with us, it doesn't have any effect : we are pro-nature and we are not afraid and perturbed, to confront ourself to these definitive rocks closures ! We are coming in the Northern Vosges for looking something, which will be very wild and preserved, picturesque and interesting to visit and to photography, the oil for the vehicle is so expensive : so, could we finally beeing respected, with our great passion for the natural and rocky elements ? Is this a crime today, to walk in the forest and to photography the rocks ?
