The start of the NW ridge of Tocllaraju: looks a bit tricky to me!

Today my partner was having an unplanned rest day at high camp, while I explored the route to the start of the ridge. We planned to do this in darkness tomorrow. There was a good trail to follow, but as this photo shows, it's not clear where exactly the ridge must be gained. I didn't follow the trail all the way to the bergschrund, so I didn't check it out up close. The next day, we both failed to hear the alarm, so we started well after sunrise. In addition, several other parties had started before us and consequently the route up to the ridge was perfectly clear: it was a little bit further left. 30 June 2011.
