The summit of the Rothenfels, covered with snow !
We are here, situated on the summital platform, from the southern Rothenfels observatory. At the Rothenberg, it exists equally a northern observatory, which is classified as " Natural and Savage Reserve " (this is so meaning, that the site is theorically closed and forbidden to the public, hikers or climbers ! ). The southern part is smallest and easier to reach, as the northern part (but warning, both observatories are unmarked, very isolated and savage ! ). We were here, on the southern Rothenberg (in the dominial forest from Philippsbourg, Moselle, France), when the skies were very cloudy and bad, with a little bit snow ! The hike was dangerous enough, but very interesting and passionnating to practice. We had discovered too much picturesque and remarkable things here, on the Rothenberg mountain ... It's sure, that we will one more time recoming here, for taking still more photos of the rocky site ...
