The town of Baring from the...

The town of Baring from the summit of Baring. The difference in elevation between these two landmarks is greater than one mile. Also visible is the South Fork Skykomish River. It is in town that one finds the turn off for the Barclay Creek Road. It's that intersection at the center of the picture. August 10, 1997.

From the summit of south peak?

Thought the view would be obscured by intervening peaks and other topography from the north summit, just wondering....great shot though, gets me thinking.

Re: From the summit of south peak?

It's taken from the (main) summit. I haven't (yet) done the south summit.
