The Urge for Going ...

"I awoke today, and found the frost perched on the town. It hovered in a frozen sky, then it gobbled summer down. When the sun turns traitor cold ... and all trees are shivering in a naked row, I get the URGE for GOING ..." Desperate to get out, my wife and I hit the dusty trail. But, this time it wasn't so dusty ... as a rare December snowstorm had deposited white stuff on nearby buttes such as Lizard Head (5600') and Capitol Butte (6355'), prominent features seen from west Sedona.
