Desperate to get out, my wife and I hit the dusty trail.
But, this time it wasn't so dusty ... as a rare December snowstorm had deposited white stuff on nearby buttes such as Lizard Head (5600') and Capitol Butte (6355'), prominent features seen from west Sedona.
