This is a view from 5226T ridge, looking S at the cliffs on the N side of 5219T. The main point of this photo is to convince you that a descent N from 5219T requires care. CP found class 2 route UP near the dotted line; but what is obvious from below, is not always obvious from above. (This isn't supposed to be a pretty picture; it's supposed to keep hikers from breaking their necks by doing what seems "intutive" on top of 5219. In the winter, these cliffs are normally in deep shadows.)

Can mostly follow the ridge...

I climbed Peak 5226 as part of a traverse of the Arrow Canyon Range yesterday. You can actually follow the ridge pretty much the whole way up; the only place where you have to skirt left is at the very bottom from the saddle (not shown in this picture). The "cliffs" are actually made up of very broken terrain, so the upper ridge is at most easy class 3--but quite enjoyable nonetheless.

Thanks -- CP thought he had gone down the ramp, but it sounds like you stayed more to the west. I added your comments to the page on peak 5219.
