This is the south branch (left as you're looking up from the bottom) of the Y Couloir (July 31, 2004). You can just see the top of the north branch in the upper right.

South Branch

Andy, I looked at an older photo of mine, and I'm sure that is the left (southwest?) branch of the Y. I still may have to give that a try some day, before I hang up the crampons.



Great hiking with you yesterday. My photos are still trapped on celluloid!.

Thanks, I changed the caption. I had a great time too and I'm feeling surprisingly good today. I was looking back through my photos and I believe the grass gully we came down where we found the slings actually was the exact same grassy gully we vetoed in the morning.
