A long day- but totally worth it
"Gorgeous views" doesn't begin to describe what you'll see on the way to Thunder Mountain. Trap lake is beautiful, both Thunder Mountain lakes are breathtaking, Square lake and lake Wolverine are amazing, and from the summit, you can see Glacier lake and Surprise lake. As usual, the Cascade views do not disappoint. According to the very soggy register, only about 15-20 parties have signed the log in the last 10 years. A lot of people don't know what they're missing!
