Traverse to the Breche du Roland - western end

This part of the Franco/Spanish border ridge seen from the North includes Pico de Gabieto (3034m) and El Taillon (3146m) on the left hand side of the foto. Traversing from the road head at the right hand side, along the obvious snowfield to the left, takes you to a broad gulley leading up to the Sarradets refuge and the Breche.
