Wow it's poured down we got going up the North ridge and coming down. Made the summit. Didn't fan Adam and Eve due to the appalling conditions.

Wales Winner!
Wow, what a fantastic surprise this mountain was....had a great day hiking/scrambling! No jumping from Adam to Eve for me but got to see someone else do it, very cool!
Some of the best scrambling I have ever done. A lovely mountain!

North Ridge
First time up. Tackled the North Ridge. Lots of fun bouldering opportunities, though care must be taken to stay on the ridge, the East and West flanks have some pretty sheer drops. On the summit the Sun broke through the mist and we had spectacular views. Some brave chap got his girlfriend up on Eve and proposed to her from Adam. Will definitely return
Climbed Tryfan countless times, a truly magnificent little mountain loads of character.
Tryfan can be climbed a different way each time you ascend it, quite unique and enjoyable and has the added quirkiness of Adam and Eve on the Summit, must be jumped to qualify for the peak :)

North ridge in 2002 with my mate Andy. Nor' Nor' Buttress solo in 2003, making it harder in places, just for fun. Did the jump of course. Continued to Bristly Ridge to Glyder Fach. Had a few pints of ale in a pub next to the campsite somewhere between Tryfan and Snowdon.
Made a "horseshoe" of Tryfan along with Bristly Ridge, the Glyders, and Y Garn
A good old day (12hrs) of beautiful clear skies and perfect vision. The best fun I've had in years!
My son and I did the obligatory Jump at the top, and the best view of the day was from Y Garn at the end looking back at this majestic beasty!

Love it - made over 50 ascents!
Tryfan was the first mountain I climbed, at the age of 9, with my parents. For many years I climbed it at least once a year, but some years in the late 1970's/early 80's I climbed it several times. Most of my ascents have been via the wonderful North Ridge, where 'the canon' is the famous half way land mark. I have also reached the summit via several of the rock climbs ascending from 'the heather terrace' on the east side - the hardest of which being 'Belle View Bastion', the first 'very severe' rock climb I led - and which I repeated on 3 occasions. A wonderful little hill - and I expect to climb it a few more times before I'm done.

Excellent Mountain
Hiking/Scrambling route up. Drizzle to begin with, followed by some severe weather at the top. All good fun. Followed onto the Glyders afterwards.

Grooved Arete
Led the 8 pitches of Grooved Arete, just after some rainfall, so quite wet but still very good fun. Jumped between Adam and Eve for good measure. Stunning views from the summit, too!

Many Times:
As with Glyder's I have done this stunning summit many times combining them all in days trek. There is always something that wants to draw you back to this summit...?
Jul 28-2007 was a great start to the day when on Tryfan but the weather turned sour when we reached Glyder Fawr to head on to Y Garn... Not nice.

Nice climb
We had climbed Snowden the day before in wind and rain, but luckily had perfect weather for Tryfan. Lovely climb, great views, maybe next time I'll try the Adam to Eve jump.
Been up here so many times in all seasons and all weather conditions. It never fails to entertain, which ever route you pick. One of my favourite mountains.
Always makes a trip to North Wales worthwhile. Done numerous routes in pretty appauling weather, not in snow yet though!

Great scrambling
Went up Tryfan on the way to Cardiff for the European Rugby Final. Nice work-out meant we could justify the two days of drinking that followed. A very enjoyable hill with a multitude of scrambling/climbing options. If only there was something like this in Wicklow!!
