This caught my eye as my wife and I hiked in the Banff area a few years ago. I think you meant to put in a different date though? Beacuse you summitted Howard in Washington State the day prior?
Completely accurate, believe it or not. Caught the morning flight from Seattle to Calgary for a one week trip to Banff and Jasper with the wife. Did this hike while the better half looked around town.

Mixed Scramble and Trail
Would love to have taken a route but had no equipment on the trip. We still enjoyed the birdseye view of town and the scrambling. Such a magical part of the world.
After a 20 hour travel day we were up late so this was a nice easy warm up for the next several days. Took the easy trail to the top, not the technical routes and despite heavy cloud cover the views were great, 360 degrees. Mount Rundle is really impressive peak to the south.

Leg warmer
Good for stretching the legs after a day in the car
After arriving in Banff late in the afternoon, Maria and I decided to start our hiking extravaganza with this little warm-up. I know it's mostly a hill, but the rest of the peaks were note-worthy.

Surprising views
We did this for some exercise on a gloomy day and it turned out to be a lot better than expected. Who knew a bump this small could seem so high from the top. Polished ice sheets near the cliff railings kept things from being too mundane..

Gooseberry (5.8)
Mary and I climbed this after a late arrival into Canmore the night before. Perfect climb for our first day of the trip. We got a nice late start...on the route at around 1PM, topped out at 5PM. Good climbing.

Hiked the trail with my wife on our 35 year anniversery trip to Banff. This was a nice summit to attain in this beautiful park. Great views, nice people on trail.

trail
Hiked up the trail. Nice views near and from the summit.
Unremarkable route, good for an early or late season fling. Jo, Adam and I switched leads on a lazy May day. Would not repeat it but worthy for someone stuck in Banff with nothing better to do.
