the icing on a great day.. we came from chaos canyon, booted up Hallets and dropped in on this for some fine turns all the way to Emerald Lake.
Glissaded down this in college. Something I will never forget.
Snow was very firm but in really good shape.
Climbed with Matt Gates. Climbed the extreme left to the left of the rock rib. Snow was firm and ankle-deep throughout the climb (early morning) but will soften up during the day. Hallett is a great peak to top out on!
