All those pics...

you have posted recently are of unknown peaks, perhaps you should try to find their names (heights).

Gracias

Re: All those pics...

Hola Diego,
For the ones I posted recently in the Karo La group (near Kaluxung / Kalurong and Noijin Kangsang, I am pretty sure that they have no names.

About the last shots I posted of the Kangri Karpo group, the pictures have been taken from the bottom of the valley, and the peaks are by far not the highest in the range. So most of them will not be found on a map.

Saludos,
Bruno

Re: All those pics...

Regarding your question about heights of the peaks, those I posted of the Kangri Karpo range are rather low, between 4500m and 5500m. The Valley itself is very low for Tibet(2800m at Pome)and even Rawok Tso lake is not higher than 3900m. The whole area is densely forested (mostly pine trees) and in the lower areas subtropical scecies can be found (bamboos, etc.). Quite unusual for Tibet!

The highest peak in the Kangri Karpo range is Bairiga or Ruoni with an altitude of 6882m. See also Kangri Karpo page.

Re: All those pics...

I had seen that page before. Anyway, thanks for the information about those peaks. They seem so beautiful though they're not high in Tibet. I'd like to go there anytime
