Mike Weber with Lost River peak in the background. We checked out the first road that leads to the west side approach on foot and quickly decided that this was not the way to drive. The canal has a bank that would take a Humvee or horse to cross. The second left leads to reasonable canal crossing unless the water is too high. May 1, 2016 Photo by Bob Boyles

Yeah ...

A lot of folks forget about the Springtime
water levels throughout the west and have to turn back.
