This peak is a tougher climb, but there is a peak along the the divide to the east called Peak 11,485 almost 300' higher--and to me the view of the Kings River drainage is better. It is reached by following the Marble Fork of the Kaweah River beyond the Pear Lake junction to the divide, then head left up the peak.
