I understand that in the White Cloud Mountains of Idaho, Watson Peak was supposedly named after my father (James Watson)And it was named after him because When he was young he told of putting out a forest fire in that area, you have any information or stories to tell about this? I would truly love to hear them as he's no longer around to hear his and all his brothers and sisters are also gone. He was born and raised in Salmon, packed and guided, ran the Salmon with his Brother Bill and worked ranches, married and had myself and my sister in salmon, till we moved out in 1968-69. I know he knew the mountains like the back of his hand.
