I slave away in the Denver area; occupation: Sales Exec. Live for the weekends. Climbing Preference: Conventional routes not always apply. Several backpacking trips per year, 3 seasons. In the past 3-4 years, I've turned into more of a backpacker than peak bagger. Always up for anything. Accomplishments: Continually figure out a way to be somewhere high about 30-40 weekends a year. Gear-age resembles the Boulder Sports Recyclers. A bunch of days on sticks every year. I ski BC as well as use chairlifts. About 40 days/year over past 10 yrs. Many years in the 70's. Daizy the Dawg now has 19 14ers. Goals: Settling down with a hot outdoorsy babe. Not living in Denver full time. Do more zero crowded 13ers or way away from it all hikes. Summit as many peaks as I can .... w/little help from my friends on the harder stuff. Put myself in cool surroundings as much as possible. Do the entire Colorado Trail.. More Winter BC Skiing.. ....AK. Get on the Monarch Crest every summer. Powderhound at Monarch, Basin and MJ / Steamboat Avoid Crowds, Tourists, Gapers, etc. that flock to VRI. Get FCD plates again sometime soon. Gear List: SPF300, Barium tablets for Radiation poisoning, as backup for my astronaut suit flowing with imported ice-cold Arkansas river water circulating next to veins to keep me cool ..... when trapped in the traffic infested prickly heat of Denver in June thru September. Up High: Shades, Nalgene, Pack, .. Yukon Jack or Captain Morgans .. Gore Tex, some shelter ... All the same stuff as everyone else, mine is just dirtier!. Depends what I take, where I'm going, and what season it is... Lighter and Lighter. Hopefully involving Skis between Sept to June.. Melanzana Fan
