Surprise! Even though I live in Latvia now Iam a nativ of Garmisch and have climbed the Alpspitze several times (long before the Ferrata was set).Your picture of the Alpspitze Southface made me a bit homesick,because it reminds me of one of my climbs when I decented down the SW ridge and Mathaisenkar.
