Started backpacking in Boy Scouts 1970. Focused on mountaineering from 1978 to 1986 in Washington, Canada, Sierras, and Alps. Rock climbing, skiing and backpacking are my current passions (in order of preference). Backcountry traditional gear climbs are my favorite type of climbing.
