We only have about 60 more days of this
hot summer weather, then it will be much
more comfortable to venture out into the hills, and contemplate the spinning of the Earth while the deciduous leaves are turning.

The only other option would be to travel to
another place or time, but I've already had
my quota of vacations.

Besides, I need to take my dear wife into the
immigration office, and shuffle some more
papers around.

Unfortunately, their joint forces seem to have managed to conquer all of the planet. But they're not equivalent - it's much easier to punch a bureaucrat in the jaw.
