Uto and Sir Donald

Uto and Sir Donald

Uto and Sir Donald from descent along Uto NW ridge. We climbed the SW ridge(mid fifth class) from the col which you can see in lower right between Uto and Sir Donald. Beautiful sunny day but hot. July 12, 2012

Wow

Stunning scenery here. I've wanted to try Uto since I first put eyes on it. I'm jealous. :)

Re: Wow

Thanks - great day on dry moderate rock. The SW ridge of Uto drys out much earlier than Sir Donald and is a fun shorter and somewhat easier version of sir D. We didn't spend a lot of time looking for easiest way so did some mid fifth class in places. More pics at billkerr.ca
