Re: One of the...Hi Martin, please add this photo to your page of Vychodna Vysoka. This would help summitpost members identify the location of this wonderful photo. How are you, man? I'm going to have some tough trips in Tatras in the end of june. How about you? Would you like to participate? I'm writing you from the summer school in Graz in Austria, just on the southeast shore of mighty Alps, but I won't get the chance to get to the top of any mountain. What a pity!
I really please you to add the photo to your page of Vychodna Vysoka. See you in the mountains, hopefully!

Re: One of the...Hi Tomas! I've attached the picture, which is really wonderful!
I'm all right, studying as usually and just thinking of mountains, in a hot city...:)
I won't be home in the summer, but in August we are going to the Ötztaler Alps, Weisskugel, Hintere Schwartze and who knows...I hope we'll climb them...
Have a nice trip in Tatras, may be we can go in autumn.

Pure ice climbingVery impressive and awesome photo of the day.i like the way,the void below the climber is highlighted in your photo.he is really high from the ground!!the climber probably has a mixture of guts, skills and experience to attempt such slope unroped..wowwoww

Mh...???Sorry, but it looks like a fake! In the lower right section of the Picture walks a person with sticks and backpack in a very erect position?!?!
Please explain!

Re: Mh...???Yes, you're right. It's really strange position, but I think it's possible...

Not so good I thinkImho you should crop the bottom (the red think, maybe rucksack...) and I miss some action and expression of steepness of the slope. Maybe to try photograph from above (to express the deepness under him) or to make a sideview of the climber.

Re: Not so good I thinkThanks for your comment.
But… it is my photo. Standing on an icy slope I could take it from this angle. I haven’t changed anything because as my opinion it is realistic. And I found it nice. On SP there are 260,000 photos because someone who took each of them found his/her photo nice because of something. So did I and 123 other people.
Cheers,
Eva

Re: Not so good I thinkThis guy with the poles is coming up to icy slope but he serpentines but at this moment he is actually traversing to side direction. To the ice if you are experienced you can climb with poles but on the ice you must use axes.
