View E from E Lovenia

Thirteen of the nineteen 13000 footers of Utah are visible in this picture on the horizon, although you need to blow it up to distinguish Gunsight Peak from Mount Powell. In the foreground are Central Blacks Fork Peak (12869') at the extreme left and and the more reddish South Blacks Fork Peak (12769') to its right. August-18-2009

Great view

One of those outstanding views that conveys why the Uintas are so attractive ... Red ridges bounded by flat basins ... to the horizon. Another great shot.

Re: Great view

Thanks, the Uintas may be attractive, but not very many people seem to climb them except for Kings and Gilbert.
