View from the upper slope of Alum Cave Bluff

Alum Cave Bluff Trail Though not actually a cave, the Alum Cave Bluff is large enough to shelter you from rain if you can keep your balance on the slope. What looks like dirt here is actually sand more than a foot deep making walking difficult. Great Smoky Mountains National Park November 6, 2013
