What Flight?I find it amazing that a guy with a passion for Oklahoma hills ever got into a position to photograph the highest mountain in the tropics. It's a great picture. Where were you going when you found the opportunity to take this shot. I once flew from Rome to Paris and got a similar picture of the Matterhorn.

On a School TripI was on a school trip with a group to Lima, Peru. The flight was returning to Miami from Lima. I did not know that I had photographed Huascaran until years later when I returned to Peru and actually visited the mountain. Returning home I pulled out my old slides and was able to ID the mountain because of the more recent photos I had taken.
