View West from Jagged Summit

Turret Peak is on the left, breaking the horizon with Peak Fifteen in front of it. Pigeon Peak is next with Monitor Peak in front of it. To the right is Peak Thirteen, and then Animas Mountain.

Re: great ridge

Thanks!

The peaks actually form two different ridges. Monitor Peak, Peak Thirteen, and Animas Mountain form one that can be hiked in a nice day from a base camp in the Ruby Creek Basin (Monitor Peak is horribly loose, though).

Peak Fifteen, Turret Peak, and Pigeon Peak follow a ridge on the south side of the Ruby Creek drainage although passage along that ridge would be difficult.

I think this is the most beautiful area in Colorado.
