Gerea refuge
Situated in the eastern section of the Căpăţânii, about 1 km E of Gera summit,
Cabana Geruţa
was restored between 2008 - 2010. Its capacity is about 14 people and the source of water is 100 m of it.
Funny thing is that due to incorrect drawing in paper map of the Căpăţânii, I was searching for this shelter for more than two hours. Unfortunatelly, when I noticed an object, which resembled log cabin, I was attacked by two sheepdogs and it turned to be Căprăreasa sheepfold. I am sure, if I was familiar with this error in the map the incident would not happen at all:D
