Winter in Martuljek group, with Spik, from Gozd Martuljek village, 3km east of Kranjska Gora resort. Lined up, from the left are: Siroka Pec (2497m), Visoki Oltar (2621m), Visoka Ponca (2602m), Mala Ponca (2502m), Spik (2472m) and Frdamane Police (2284m). Because of the wilderness of the Martuljek group there are no paths to any of the peaks, from this side. The only marked path reaches the Bivak pod Spikom (Bivouac under Spik, 1442m) at the foothills of its north face.
