Approach


Follow the directions on the main page to reach the saddle to the east of the peak.

Route Description


From the very end of the saddle, you should be able to see a use trail contouring up towards the peak though the sandy soil at the peak's base. The use trail gradually turns upwards and dwindles away as the terrain moves from class 1 to class 2. Continue scrambling upward to the summit. The summit block itself (see photo) requires a few short class 3 manuvers.

Nothing beyond your day hiking gear. Axe/Crampons may be required to decend the north side of the pass down to the Young Lakes region
