Peak 7071
This is a special album for photos specifically of Peak 7071 in Northwest Colorado. My guess is that it may be the one of the difficult peaks in Colorado and it appears to be unclimbed (update: The first ascent of this peak happened in 2010). This region is also very remote and completely ignored by climbers, but I can’t add a page since I obviously haven’t climbed the peak.
The face on the southwest side is over one and a half times higher than the Diamond on Longs Peak, or over five times the pinnacle on Lizard Head. The rock is nasty and crumbles in your hand, not to mention is covered with fine sand.
This album is so you can enjoy photos of this spectacular peak that is way off the radar and almost unknown. I know of no other photos of the peak, but if you do, please post a link. Feel free to add more.
