Virginia's south ridge,...

Virginia's south ridge, around where it angles from NE to N (Aug 30, 2003). The leftmost notch below the summit leads to cliffs or a loose, exposed scramble along the ridgeline (probably not third class); the rightmost leads to cliffs or loose rock on the peak's southwest face. It is easiest to traverse across the SE face of the peak here.
