Looking South from Stanton Mountain...

Looking into the magnificent Southwestern quadrant of the park. Pointed mountain in the distance on the right is Mount Saint Nicholas; flat-topped Mount Stimson is in the far distance at top center. [This is part of a series of three photos which I almost didn't post because the light was so poor—but I have plans to do the mountain again, including summiting Vaught, and in all probability I'll be able to get this, or a similar, shot in the late afternoon (as opposed to the 11:00 AM-type light here); when that occurs, I'll post that/those photos, deleting what you see now.
