The Jenner, 1874m

The Jenner is a mountain in the Berchtesgaden Alps that rises directly above the famous Königssee near Berchtesgaden in south-east Bavaria, Germany. It's easily accessible, either by cable-car to within ten minutes of the top, or by foot on well-marked paths the entire length of the way. As the summit has a rather exposed position between the Königssee, the Hohes Brett-Hoher Göll group and the Hagengebirge, one has a spectacular 360-degree view to all the mountains of the Hagengebirge, Steinernes Meer, Watzmann, the bavarian pre-alps, the Untersberg, the city of Salzburg, and, last not least, an awesome steep view 1200 meters down to the Königssee. I've been so many times up the Jenner without camera that I can't count them any more, but this year (2010) I went up two times shooting photos, once on Feb. 16th, and again on March 27th.

Oh ya....

I see you have more than just one "personal album". Have you considered making a "Eric albums collected" page yet? Your photography is starting to become outstanding...keep up the great work my friend. Happy Trails

Re: Oh ya....

Thanks again, Troy...sounds very attractive, your idea...only, have other SP members already created this kind of page here yet?
Cheers,
Eric

Re: Oh ya....

Again its Trevor who talks....Troy who poses for the camera. I created a "my albums collected page" and so have several fellow SP'ers. It is usually more for personal enjoyment but it would make digging through your better photos much easier. Keep up the outstanding photography Eric....you have the gift.

Re: Oh ya....

Thanks so much, Trevor (finally I know it for sure! :D)! I'll check out your "my albums collected page" so as to get an idea, and then see what I can do! Thanks for the tip!
All the best to both you and Troy,
Eric

Parents

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
