Lost Lake (Hooper Quad) I

This is the Lost Lake on the Hooper Quad. The lake is north of Washtucna. Like its name would suggest, this lake is off the beaten track, though there is a drivable dirt track to it. The lake cannot be seen from any highway and the approach track is probably on private property. I am suspicous of the naturalness of this lake. At the outlet near where Michelle is standing with son and umbrella there is a drainage grate that goes under the road there. A dainty stream proceeds to flow away on the other side of the road where there is a tiny embankment. The road there has the signs of a manmade dam, but it is not a certain dam. Hmmmmm? May 15, 2010.
