Overview
After being on every tourist-accessible peak in High Tatras I decided to go further with a help of Tatras mountain guides. During two days we climbed a ridge of Ľadové štíty and the ridge connecting Pyšný štít with Lomnický štít.The ridge of Ľadové štíty is quite exposed, but it isn't too difficult. We started at 4:00 from Hrebienok, we went through Malá Studená dolina Valley and Dolinka pod Sedielkom to Sedielko pass (2376 m) - the highest tourist accessible pass in High Tatras. From there we continued to the summit of Malý Ľadový štít (2602 m), then we crossed Ľadová štrbina pass and climbed to the summit of Ľadový štít (2627 m) - the highest point in the main ridge of High Tatras. From there we descend via Ľadový kôň to Ľadová priehyba and from there back to Hrebienok.
