View east from the Kapuzinerjoch to the Hoher Kogel
The Kapuzinerjoch is a high alpine saddle. A hiking trail goes over a ridge that runs east-west. The northern slopes of the ridge are rugged, the southern are more gentle.
West of the saddle lies a rugged but not very high unnamed peak. East, which is what this photo shows, the ridge extends for quite a while, and after gaining some 500m of elevation gain it ends at the north-south ridge between Hohe Geige (3395m) and Hoher Kogel (3293m), which is on the left in this photo.
