Must have been an epic scaffolding job back in those days. Great result though. Kind of blends with the scenery.

1882 --- that was before "Laura Antonelli"
was a glimmer in her daddy's eyes.

Hi Dave,
it's the Chatelet Bridge, 108 meters high, completed in 1882. The bridge crosses the Ubaye river in the Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of France, near the Italian border. The bridge had been destroyed in 1944 and restored in 1945.
I also think that the construction is perfectly included in the environment!
