Below Igl Compass (3016m)
Eric and me below Igl Compass (3016m), at about 2600m, going up the Val Zavretta route.
The pass near the left edge of the picture, with the clouds rolling in, is the Fuorcla Zavretta (2901m), where you turn right to follow the ridge to the summit.
This picture was taken by an athletic lady from Zürich —we later assumed she was in the banking business—, the only person we met during our hike up.
