Poland Hill, with the Rat Brain, at Dawn

Poland Hill, with the Rat Brain, at Dawn

Seen from the entrance road. The Rat Brain is the right-side formation. Three crag classics are visible here. Skull (5.10a) is the huge crack on the left-side formation. Fantasia (5.9) is the big crack on the Rat Brain. To its left is an arching crack called Kim (5.6). If you view this image in the original size, it's easy to see. Vedauwoo, Wyoming-- October 2015

Re: I doesn't really look

I have never seen one, so I have no idea myself!

Re: I doesn't really look

Rat brains are completely smooth - no folds. They are more elongated than human brains, and have large olfactory bulbs in front of the brain proper, that receive input from the nose (smelling). Weight about a couple of grams - some 600 times less than ours.
