Neat to knowI probably visit the top of this one once a month or so since it is close to my house and I can grab it when I don't have much time. I have grown to appreciate what a neat little range the Traverse range is and this allows me to get some conditioning in.

Re: Neat to knowWhen I was younger I hiked the ridge east to west from Corner Canyon to the gravel pits, then back along the north bench. That was before roads, houses, pipelines, and Micron. The developments discouraged me and in the end will kill it. Thanks for the pics, and the encouragment.

Re: Neat to knowYes, the development of the area is pretty sad. I've taken the liberty of attaching this pic to the View BM page. I appreciate knowing the history of the range as seen through your experience. Looks like you have a great hiking buddy with you.

Re: Neat to knowMr. Dean using my pictures? I'm honored. Feel free. As to the dog - she is my son's that he got fixed which rendered her purebred English Setter lineage worthless. He calls her "monkey" I call her "dog".
