Sweet!Looks like an awesome line. Pretty asthetic looking thin crack there. Nice exposure shot.

Re: Sweet!Thank you very much Martin! Yeah, looking back I do think it's a beautiful crack though while up there, I was thinking "when is this f...er going to end?!" :)

All seems impossible to me !Years ago, even if I'd ever had occassion to look up at such walls, I would have thought, unclimbable.
What humans can do, never ceases to amaze me.

Re: All seems impossible to me !Ray, thanks but you do realize we aided this right? :) Nothing superhuman here - place gear, pull on gear...repeat :) cheers.

Re: All seems impossible to me !I realised there would quite a bit of aid, but some of it's derived from those micro space-age wedges. And, heck, I just tried to haul myself up to check the garage roof. Gees, I feel like a pune.
Not that I wouldn't mind getting the form back. And this rock looks so clean and technical. I'd love to apply my engineering skills to that. Plus, I really love the desert terrain, along with gorgeous colours.
Anyways, this year I'm going for a couple of objectives and taking no prisoners.

Re: All seems impossible to me !Ray, it sure is fun stuff that rock around Moab. This Arches National Park stuff is not the greatest for free climbing (for gumbies like us) but it sure is fun for putting those engineering skills to use (aid/adventure outings). Other stuff around Moab does have great rock & superb free climbing...should be on your list & if you're ever out this way, shoot me an email.
