Some remnants of an uncompleted communications tower found near the summit of Walville Peak, the most prominent point in Pacific County, Washington. The mountain's true summit is located in the forest, approximately a dozen yards beyond the communications tower platform. Photo taken on May 29, 2010.

Communication Tower

I talked with a retired Weyerhaeuser guy below the mountain, he said the communication tower was never completed. They just walked away from the job after being told it was no longer needed.
