I, my sister, uncle and my mum after hike to Slavkovsky stit in Stary Smokovec, where you may start your hike. You can get there by train, bus or by car. The height difference from here to the summit of Slavkovsky stit (on the picture) is 1440 metres. The Strbavy hreben (Aperturous ridge), through which the blue marked trail leads to the summit, is the right one. You go through the forest up to the place behind the tree to connect the ridge. Than you follow the ridge until the summit is reached. You have to take a lot of water or other liquids with you in hot summer weather to prevent the thirst.
