You'll have to start roping up at the base of these things Gangolf, they are just too close by for you to avoid any longer!
I like the restriction on chalk for these cliffs. I think it sends a bad message to hikers in the area when a cliff is buried under a dozen white puffs, giving it the appearance of a gym rather than a work of nature.

You're obviously right about me having to rope up. Problem is the poor state of my knees, elbows and back. And that I can only go there after work in the summer. Not much time left...
On the other hand I observed a number of climbers on neighbouring Westpfeiler and I'm sure I could have done what they were doing :-)
Then three days later I observed another climber trying (unsuccessfully) to push through a roof. After having given up he complained to his girlfriend that this sure was more difficult than the 8+ the guidebook advertised. And so it looked ;-)
